Sir Brandon "Bud" Lewis is a dynamic forward and attacking midfielder with American roots and international experience competing at elite levels in both the U.S. and England. Known for his explosiveness, sharp movement, and natural goal-scoring instinct, he has built a reputation as a fearless attacking threat who thrives in big moments. During the 2024–2025 season at Steven Gerrard Academy in Liverpool, Brandon played a pivotal role in helping his team win the U23 National Youth Football League Championship, finishing the campaign with 26 goals and 9 assists in 45 matches. His time in England sharpened his tactical awareness and tested him against some of the strongest young players in the country, proving his ability to adapt and succeed in international competition.
In the United States, Brandon developed his foundation with FC Delco in Pennsylvania, where he scored 32 goals and helped lead the club to the Eastern PA State Cup title in 2021. At the high school level with Sanford School, he found the net 27 times while earning recognition as a First Team All-Conference (x2) and Second Team All-State (x2) selection, along with multiple MVP and Golden Boot honors. These achievements highlight not only his consistency in front of goal but also his impact as a leader across different levels of competition.
His path to Penn State University (PSU) began in his senior year of high school, when the head coach at PSU Brandywine, who had been following Brandon’s progress for some time, came to watch him play an FC DELCO match in November 2022. Impressed by his performance, the coach expressed his interest right then, and shortly after extended the opportunity to join a program that had recently earned USCAA National Championships in 2018 and 2021. Brandon officially enrolled as a freshman in September 2023, beginning the business degree he continues to pursue today. Hungry to take the next step, Brandon sees every training session and every match as an opportunity to grow.
Beyond the pitch, he has earned Dean’s List honors twice at PSU while maintaining a 3.4 GPA. In summer 2025, he and his twin sister interned with Pennsylvania State Senator Vincent Hughes’ Read 2 Succeed Program, where they were recognized as two of the program’s “best interns ever.” Praised for their initiative, creativity, and leadership, the pair spearheaded the Youth Personal Hygiene Donation Drive, pitching the idea, rallying peers, and executing the event flawlessly. Brandon’s ability to inspire collaboration and deliver meaningful results left a lasting mark on the program’s staff and community—demonstrating the same discipline, maturity, and drive that he brings to football.
His journey—from winning championships with Steven Gerrard Academy and FC Delco, to proving himself abroad in England, to balancing academics and community service at Penn State—has shaped him into more than just a player with goals and assists. It has built a competitor with resilience, humility, and an unshakable drive to succeed. Brandon is ready to bring that same relentless energy and winning mentality to the professional stage.
